Allowing employees to use their personal devices like phones, laptops and smart watches for work can lead to greater end-user satisfaction. But how are BYOD policies working for IT departments? The latest report from Tech Pro Research, TechRepublic’s sister site, examined this question and many more. The large majority of respondents to the survey, conducted in December 2015, said IT costs have stayed the same or decreased after implementing BYOD policies. But many said their IT support responsibilities have actually gone up.
